Frequently asked

Questions, answered.

The things B2B companies ask before working with us. If yours is not here, start a conversation and just ask.

Getting started

  • How does working with you start?

With the Diagnostic. Before any work, we figure out which outcome you actually need, because the wrong deliverable, however well made, moves nothing. One conversation tells us both whether the fit is right.

  • What kinds of companies do you work with?

B2B companies whose growth depends on being understood by a considered buyer. The work runs across industries, as what clients say about it shows. What the good fits share is a real offering and a story that is not landing.

  • What is the difference between a service and an engagement?

Services are how the work gets done. Engagements are what you actually buy: a scoped outcome, built and delivered. We do not sell hours; we resolve a business outcome.

  • Can you just build me a website, a logo, or a deck?

We can, but we start with the outcome, not the deliverable. If a website is genuinely what moves the business, we build it. If it is not, we will tell you. That is what Method v1.0 includes, the Diagnostic.

Investment

  • Why are there no prices on the site?

Every engagement is scoped to what your business actually needs, so a number on a page would be fiction. We price it in a short engagement conversation instead. In every case it lands at a fraction of a full-time hire. More on how we think about investment.

  • What if the scope changes partway through?

It happens, and it usually means the work surfaced something real. We rescope in the open, before the extra work starts, rather than absorbing it quietly or letting it appear at the end. The same principle runs through how engagements are priced.

How the work runs

  • Who will actually be doing the work?

The senior practitioner who scoped it. Thirty years of practice sits behind the judgment, and the work is not sold by one person then handed down to a junior team. That is the whole shape of the practice.

  • How much of our time will this take?

Less than most people expect, and it is front-loaded. The Diagnostic and the brand foundation need real access to you early, usually a few hours across a couple of weeks. Once a system is running, your part is review and approval. The Method lays out the sequence.

  • What happens after the work ships?

We stay long enough for it to hold. A brand system arrives with the guidance needed to use it, and a marketing system gets tuned once it is live, because the first month of real data always corrects something. Partnerships cover the ongoing side.

  • What if we already have a marketing team?

Then we build the system they run. Most of this work sits underneath an internal team, giving them a foundation to execute against and the machinery to do it with. We are not a replacement for your people.

  • How do you measure whether it worked?

Against the outcome the engagement was scoped to, agreed before the work starts. Depending on the engagement that is qualified pipeline, search and AI visibility, or a business that finally gets described the same way by everyone. Momentum is where that gets tracked.

  • Do I own the work?

Yes. The brand foundation, the identity, the content, and the systems belong to your business. We build assets you keep, not campaigns that disappear when a retainer ends.

  • How fast will we see results?

It depends on the engagement. A brand or identity ships in weeks; a marketing system usually shows measurable return within about 90 days once it is running. We tell you the honest timeline up front, and Momentum is where the return shows up.

AI and what is changing

  • What is an Agentic Marketing System?

A connected set of AI agents that carry out your marketing the way a staffed team would, producing content, running campaigns, finding leads, and reporting, all guided by your brand and supervised by us. You own the output; we build and run the engine.

  • Will AI replace our marketing team?

Not the judgment. AI has absorbed a great deal of the production, which is why a small team can now do what used to take a department. What it cannot do is decide what is true about your business, or what is worth saying. We build systems that carry the work and leave the judgment where it belongs.

  • How do we show up in ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity?

By being readable, structured, and corroborated. AI systems read your site directly, then weigh it against what the rest of the web says about you. That means clean structure and schema on your side, and earned mentions off it. Our free AI Search Readiness Checker will show you where a site stands today.

  • Can you guarantee an AI system will recommend us?

No, and treat anyone who does with caution. Nobody controls what a third-party model says. What can be controlled is whether you are readable, structured, and corroborated well enough to be a candidate for the answer. That is the work behind Visibility.

  • Is AI writing our content?

AI drafts inside a system we build and supervise, guided by your brand foundation. Nothing reaches the public without human review. The point is not to publish faster. It is to publish more of what is already true about you.
