Eric Rounds Agency / Team

Team

Who does the work

Eric Rounds leads every engagement and does all of the creative work himself. Working alongside him is the firm's AI team: ten AI employees who handle data, code, production and publishing, each built around a defined role and held to his standards. Strategy and client relationships stay with Eric too.

Eric Rounds

Founder and Principal

Eric Rounds is the founder and principal. Thirty years of practice history, a Level C Certified Brand Specialist credential, and a background that ran from art direction into digital media before either discipline had settled on a name.

Named engagements include Lockheed Martin, NEC, Delta Dental, American Standard, and Total Service. Eric oversees all outcomes of every engagement.

“AI won’t replace humans, but humans with AI will replace humans without AI.”

Karim Lakhani, Harvard Business School professor

The AI team

Every task has an owner. The creative work is Eric's alone. The team handles the data, code, production and publishing behind it, and Eric approves what ships.

    AI employee

    Vanna Far

    Market Research & Foresight

Responsible for Competitive Research, Audience Insight, Category Analysis, Cultural Trends, Market Patterns, Review Analysis

Vanna looks outward before the firm looks inward. Her work begins with understanding the market a brand is entering, the language competitors have already claimed, the assumptions customers are making, and the opportunities everyone else appears to be overlooking.

She is less interested in trends themselves than in understanding what is causing them. Her research separates what is genuinely changing from what is simply getting attention, so Eric’s positioning work starts from evidence.

“I read the one-star reviews first. Disappointment tells you exactly what people expected and didn’t get, and that’s where the opportunity is.”

    Vanna

    AI employee

    Alan Worth

    Analytics & Intelligence

Responsible for Performance Analysis, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Decision Support, Opportunity Assessment, Optimization, Measurement

Alan gives Eric’s strategy its evidence. He works across performance data, business objectives, and customer behavior to separate meaningful signals from attractive distractions.

He is particularly good at showing when a problem that appears to need more marketing actually points to the offer, the operations, or a decision someone has been avoiding, so Eric starts from the facts.

“I’ll gladly spend an hour finding the twelve minutes a process wastes. Those twelve minutes come back every single week.”

    Alan

    AI employee

    Grace Mercer

    Studio Operations & Traffic

Responsible for Project Management, Scheduling, Workflow, Deadlines, Resource Coordination, Scope Tracking, Production Planning

Grace knows what is happening, what should be happening, and what is quietly at risk of not happening at all. She oversees project flow across the studio, keeping priorities clear, workloads realistic, and deadlines visible long before they become emergencies.

Her particular strength is creating order without creating bureaucracy. She does not believe a project should require six meetings to determine why nobody has started it.

“I get to the airport ninety minutes early. Deadlines get the same treatment: the best time to find a problem is long before it becomes one.”

    Grace

    AI employee

    Hedy Sinclair

    Emerging Technology & Tools

Responsible for AI Tooling, Emerging Technology, Platform Evaluation, Technical Prototyping, Tool Adoption, Production Technology, New Platforms

Hedy tests new technology before it gets anywhere near client work. She investigates emerging tools, builds technical prototypes, and determines which platforms genuinely improve how the work is produced and delivered, and which are simply impressive demonstrations.

Her role is not to chase the future. It is to identify the parts of it worth bringing into the present.

“I collect devices from companies that no longer exist. Every one of them teaches me which ideas last and which were only new.”

    Hedy

    AI employee

    Ada Sterling

    Web Development & Digital Production

Responsible for Website Development, Front-End Systems, Interactive Builds, Prototyping, Automation, Responsive Builds, Technical Implementation

Ada builds what Eric designs. She turns his layouts and ideas into fast, working code, faithful to every detail, with a strong preference for elegant systems over unnecessary complexity. Her work ranges from marketing sites to interactive tools, prototypes, and automations.

She is particularly useful when someone says, “I’m not sure if this is possible, but…”

“Building is my favorite part of any day. If an idea can be made real, I want to be the one who proves it.”

    Ada
  • Illustration of Jason Keyes, AI employee, Integrations & Automation

    AI employee

    Jason Keyes

    Integrations & Automation

Responsible for APIs, System Integrations, Workflow Automation, Webhooks, Structured Data, CRM Connections, AI Workflows, Making Disconnected Systems Work Better Together

Jason is the person we bring in when two systems should be talking to each other, but aren’t. He connects websites, CRMs, forms, databases, and AI tools so information moves on its own instead of being re-entered by hand.

He spots the manual handoffs everyone else has learned to live with, and explains the fix in normal language, so the decision stays simple even when the answer is technical.

“My Sunday breakfast is a system. Same steps, same timing, potatoes exactly right every time. Get a process right once and it pays you back every week.”

    Jason
  • Illustration of Perl Main, AI employee, Web Systems & Infrastructure

    AI employee

    Perl Main

    Web Systems & Infrastructure

Responsible for Hosting, Domains, Integrations, APIs, Databases, Deployment, System Architecture, Performance, Technical Troubleshooting

Perl works below the surface. She is responsible for the systems that allow websites, applications, services, and platforms to communicate reliably with one another.

When something needs to connect, authenticate, synchronize, deploy, scale, or stop mysteriously failing at 2:17 a.m., it generally becomes Perl’s problem. She believes the best infrastructure is the kind nobody needs to think about.

“I never keep more than six browser tabs open. A clean workspace is how I keep the systems clean too.”

    Perl
  • Illustration of Shannon Crypt, AI employee, Data, Analytics & Security

    AI employee

    Shannon Crypt

    Data, Analytics & Security

Responsible for Data Analysis, Measurement, Privacy, Security, Tracking, Attribution, Data Architecture, Risk Assessment

Shannon is concerned with two questions: what can we learn from the information we have, and how do we make sure we are handling that information responsibly?

She works across analytics, privacy, data structure, measurement, security, and reporting to make digital systems both more useful and more trustworthy. She has little patience for dashboards that contain enormous amounts of information while answering no actual questions.

“I remember very few phone numbers, but I always know where the data lives and who can reach it. That’s the part that matters.”

    Shannon
  • Illustration of Eliza Page, AI employee, Publishing & Communications

    AI employee

    Eliza Page

    Publishing & Communications

Responsible for Publishing, Newsletter Production, Social Scheduling, Proofreading, Style Consistency, Client Communications, Content Calendars

Eliza gets Eric’s work out into the world. She proofs, formats, schedules, and delivers it across newsletters, social channels, announcements, case studies, and client updates, so every piece arrives exactly as he wrote it.

She holds everything to the firm’s style guide and publishing calendar. Nothing ships with a typo, a broken link, or a missed date.

“I proof everything twice, once for the words and once for the links. A good idea deserves to arrive without a single typo.”

    Eliza
  • Illustration of Luca Sterling, AI employee, Finance & Bookkeeping

    AI employee

    Luca Sterling

    Finance & Bookkeeping

Responsible for Bookkeeping, Financial Reporting, Invoicing, Reconciliation, Forecasting, Project Profitability, Accounts Receivable, Financial Organization

Luca keeps the financial side of the firm accurate, current, and useful. Beyond traditional bookkeeping, he helps translate the numbers into a clearer understanding of what is profitable, what is drifting, what is costing more than expected, and where the business has room to move.

He considers a financial report successful only when someone can understand what it means without becoming an accountant.

“I still keep a little cash on me, enough to cover the tip jar when nobody else at the table can. Being prepared costs almost nothing.”

    Luca

Every engagement starts with Eric.
